The company engaged in the construction and operation of power plants which use renewable energy sources principally in Spain. It was founded in the year 1981 and has its registered business office located in Lugo, Spain. The company is a pioneer in the development of renewable energies in Spain, and is the largest Galician energy group. It owns facilities in the fields of hydro, wind, biomass and solar energy. It also has allocated significant resources to R&D projects, including wave and geothermal power. In addition, the company has expertise in the fields of promotion, design, construction and operation and maintenance; and all related to electrical engineering and to the development of renewable energy projects.
